Staffing, follow-up work, patient access, and provider time all shape how smoothly a practice runs.

This summer, we’re sharing what we’re seeing across growing practices and how we’re strengthening support around the daily work that keeps care moving.

What We're Hearing

Staffing Without Overcommitting

Many growing practices aren't sure whether increased demand is temporary or part of a longer-term trend. We've introduced flexible VMA coverage that provides additional administrative and basic clinical support, helping teams keep work moving as needs continue to evolve.

Keeping Outreach and Care Gaps Moving

APCM workflows depend on consistent follow-through after each patient touchpoint. In practice, outreach, documentation, and care gap visibility can lose momentum without the right structure in place.

We’ve strengthened our APCM training around coordination, documentation, and care gap visibility to help teams manage follow-through with more structure and consistency.

Making Provider Time Count

Incomplete chart preparation and back-and-forth communication can quickly add up throughout the day. We continue to emphasize pre-visit chart work and clear communication workflows in our training to help teams spend less time tracking down details and more time supporting patient care.

The Part AI Doesn’t Always See

As EHRs and healthcare platforms add more AI-supported capabilities, many teams are asking a practical question:

How do we know the output is ready to move forward?

AI can support the work, but it doesn’t remove the need for review, context, operational structure, and follow-through.

We’re paying close attention to the quality and trust layer around AI-supported workflows, especially where human assurance, exception handling, and clear next steps still matter.

If your team is exploring AI-supported workflows, we’d be glad to discuss a small pilot around quality and human review.

A Look Back at Spring Events

HIMSS, Becker’s, AMGA, and MGMA Operations gave us a closer look at the conversations shaping healthcare operations today, from AI adoption and workforce planning to operational performance.

We came back with clearer direction for supporting clients today and preparing for what comes next.

More Space for Training, Collaboration, and Support

We’ve expanded into additional offices in Metro Manila and added more work areas at our Iloilo headquarters. This growth helps strengthen the support behind our teams. The added space gives staff more room to train, collaborate, and stay connected as they support the daily work that keeps practices moving.

Building Team Connection Through Play

The Xillium Olympics are in full swing, with employees participating in everything from basketball and badminton to chess, trivia, and virtual games. It's been a great way for teams across the company to connect, stay active, and have fun together.

Merienda Time: A Daily Filipino Tradition

One everyday tradition in the Philippines is merienda, a light snack enjoyed between meals.

Whether it's fresh fruit, bread, noodles, or local favorites like turon (a crispy banana-filled pastry), merienda is often a chance to take a short break, catch up with coworkers, and recharge before getting back to work.
