A smooth day at the practice depends on a lot of moving pieces: staffing, follow-up work, patient access, and provider time. This summer, we’re looking at the daily work behind patient care and how steady support helps keep that work moving.

What We're Hearing

Flexible Support for Growing Practices

Growth doesn't always happen at a predictable pace. VMA Apprentice Specialists provide flexible administrative and basic clinical support that helps practices keep operations on track as demand changes.

Keeping Outreach and Care Gaps Moving

APCM workflows depend on consistent follow-through after each patient touchpoint. Outreach, documentation, and care gap visibility can lose momentum without the right structure in place.

We've strengthened our training around these workflows to help teams manage follow-through more consistently.

The Part AI Doesn’t Always See

As EHRs and healthcare platforms add more AI-supported capabilities, many teams are asking a practical question:

How do we know the output is ready to move forward?

AI can support the work, but it doesn’t remove the need for review, context, operational structure, and follow-through.

We’re paying close attention to the quality and trust layer around AI-supported workflows, especially where human assurance, exception handling, and clear next steps still matter.

If your team is exploring AI-supported workflows, we’d be glad to discuss a small pilot around quality and human review.

Strengthening the Support Behind Our Teams

We’ve expanded into additional offices in Metro Manila and added more work areas at our Iloilo headquarters. This growth gives our teams more room to train, collaborate, and stay connected, helping us continue supporting our clients with consistency.

A Look Back at Spring Events

HIMSS, Becker’s, AMGA, and MGMA Operations gave us a closer look at the conversations shaping healthcare operations today, from AI adoption and workforce planning to operational performance.

We came back with clearer direction for supporting clients today and preparing for what comes next.

Summer Games at Xillium

The Xillium Olympics are in full swing, with employees participating in everything from basketball and badminton to chess, trivia, and virtual games. It's been a great way for teams across the company to connect, stay active, and have fun together.

Merienda Time: A Filipino Take on the Coffee Break

Merienda can be as simple as bread, fruit, or coffee, but it may also include Filipino favorites like turon, a crispy banana-filled pastry, pandesal, a soft bread roll, or pancit canton, a popular noodle dish.

It serves a role similar to a coffee break in the U.S. It is a short pause in the day to grab something simple, check in with colleagues, and reset before returning to work.

More than the food itself, merienda is about taking a moment to recharge and connect. It’s one of the everyday traditions that brings warmth and rhythm to the workday.
