Events

Xillium recently attended the 2023 AAN Annual Meeting, a Neurology medical conference held in Boston. The event was well-attended by a diverse group of medical professionals, including doctors, professors, clinical researchers, and medical students, all eager to learn about the latest advancements in neurology.

Boston’s Welcoming Atmosphere

Boston has an inviting atmosphere that made our team feel right at home. When Juvy, our Marketing and Events Manager, and Graylyn, our Services Director, arrived at the airport, they were greeted by the familiar sight of Dunkin Donuts, a Filipino favorite café. "The place looked laid back, and having a Dunkin Donuts store at the airport made us feel warm and fuzzy, especially with the smell of coffee," described Graylyn.

Juvy, who had previously visited Boston for a medical conference, was delighted to be back and experience the city's warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere once again. From the charming breakfast chefs to the friendly locals on the streets, our team soaked up the positive vibes of the city. "The person who made breakfast was very personable and had a charming personality. He talked to the people eating at the breakfast hall and was just being nice and friendly," Graylyn fondly recalled.

Exhibit Preparations

Our team arrived early at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center, and the venue was abuzz with excitement. As the exhibitors geared up for the event, the venue came alive with a symphony of preparations. From small booths to massive ones with eye-catching "brain" displays, no effort was spared to create visually stunning exhibits that were sure to captivate everyone's attention.

As Graylyn noted, "the exhibitors went all out to provide an unforgettable experience for attendees." Our team was equally committed to ensuring that visitors left with a lasting impression. The preparations were a testament to the hard work and dedication of all involved, promising an event that was nothing short of spectacular.

Building Connections

The team had the opportunity to build connections with other exhibitors. They engaged in lighthearted banter and exchanged information about the complimentary food and drinks at the venue.

But the real highlight was meeting with doctors who showed interest in our virtual medical assistants and our services. We received warm and positive reactions from doctors, who were eager to learn more about the specialty training we provide to our virtual medical assistants.

Even more exciting, we had the pleasure of meeting our client, Dr. Hemant Pandey, MD, a Neurosurgeon at Brain & Spine Center, which was a delightful surprise and memorable experience. The connections didn't stop there – after the conference, we visited one of our clients in Atlanta, GA. We toured his clinic and had a delicious lunch at Howell's Kitchen.

A Delightful Learning Experience

The 2023 AAN Annual Meeting in Boston provided us with a valuable opportunity to learn from others in the industry, build relationships, and showcase our services to medical professionals. Xillium looks forward to attending more medical events in the future and building on the connections made at the conference.
