Well, not exactly today, but there is a looming problem that can reach back when it arrives. Today, the majority of traffic and data are encrypted with the public-private key scheme, which is mostly safe. However, there is reporting that states bad actors are collecting vast amounts of today's encrypted data in anticipation of a future quantum computing ability to access it. Today, the data is gibberish but in 10 years…


Google has always been quietly designing and advancing secure systems. Here, they announced a quantum hacking-proof methodology of information utilized in Chrome. No one is going to care about it right now but when the moment arrives, Chrome at least will be ready.
