There are a lot of components that drive outsourcing. Some of them are structural and some are cultural. In this video, given the high COVID rate in Michigan, a solution to the problem is our close neighbor, Canada, where COVID is not as severe.

Demographics in the US are clear: it's going to demand more healthcare workers. This will put pressure on costs and limit the care that Americans need. The pandemic and the way that we work and deliver healthcare can show us the way to improve delivery.
